did anyone else view todays weather as..
tears from heaven? i just thought of that all day, how the rain was like the heavens crying for new york today..

I don't know Team America but at the end of the day, I was walking Casey and the sky was a really nice pinkish / blue....and it made me sad to think that the people we lost that day never got to see a nice sunset like that...

They definitely saw it!! They've got "the best view in the house" so to speak.

This is the first 9-11 anniversary that it was raining(i think). Every other year the weather was beautiful, just as beautiful as the actual day in 2001. it was so difficult when the sun was out and sky was blue because it brought back all of the memories. To me, today was like a sign that its ok to move on, but not to forget. it was like the sky granting permission to move on in some sort of way. thats how i see it.

And that's so strange too, bc this is the first 9/11 anniversary that fell on a Tuesday, the same day it was in 2001. I like your idea of taking it as a sign to move on but never forget.

That was my first reaction when I woke up yesterday....Then later in the afternoon when the thunder & lightening, it was like all the innoncent souls were sending their fury down!!!
