Did anyone else fall on the ice yesterday?
I am 30 weeks and fell on my driveway yesterday morning as I was walking to my car. I totally did not see the ice. I fell on my side and on my belly. I was freaked and had my DH drive me right up to Stony Brook. They monitored me in L&D for about 5 hours. I had some contractions according to the monitor but I didn't feel them....they told me I was dehydrated ( I hadn't eaten or drank anything since the night before). They put me on an IV and the contractions stopped thank goodness. After I left the hospital, I went into my OB for an ultrasound...baby and placenta are all good. I am still sore from my fall but thankful that everything is ok! What a day!
