I loved the pampers swaddlers newborn. Don't stock up on newborn size. In fact the hospital only uses size 1 and they give you tons! Take an extra bag to stock up.

I used pampers with DD #1 and intend to with #2 as well. O tried other brands but preferred pampers. Never had a blowout, didn't have leakage issues, loved then.

I liked pampers swaddlers. We had to switch DD because she had a rash from them, but I liked the fit and the blue wetness indicator. Now we use Earth's Best.

Yes, I learned this too late. Started with pampers swaddlers and then at 6 months discovered Target.. wish I would have done so sooner, could have saved so much $$$. Whenever I have DC #2 I will probably use whatever swaddlers I get from the hospital and then switch right to Target.

We love Costco's brand - they are very reasonable and very well made.
In the beginning, we were given Pampers and Huggies as gifts. We used them all and preferred Pampers over Huggies but once the gifts ran out we bought Kirkland Signature Costco brand. Love!

Target diapers are the BEST! They are so absorbent and roomy and verrrrry cheap compared to name brands. I love them!

I would recommend getting two small packs one of Huggies and one of Pampers. You never know how baby will react to either. If you're considering other brands get a small pack of those as well. Don't pile on one brand cuz u never know...
I agree with the above. I wound up buying a bunch of Huggies because that was what my mother used, but they didn't work for my son. Pampers worked for him.

I believe it is huggies little snugglers. that was definitely helpful.

Pampers to begin with then Luvs by size 2..
I save so much money switching to Luvs when they are bigger! I like the pampers when they are newborns, they are just really soft but the luvs work great for all my boys and the price can't be beat. Nolan hasn't had ONE overnight leak in them and he's been using them for 3 months!!

We used both Huggies and Pampers when DS was newborn. Once DS was bigger, we switched to Luvs. They are way cheaper and worked fine!
