Diaper rash
I noticed yesterday DD had a diaper rash. It was red between her cheeks and went all the way up her butt. Today it is all bumpy. It doesn't seem to bother her, but I have been putting A&D ointment on her every hour or so.
Is there Anything anyone recommend I use to help treat it?

Re: Diaper rash
For something like that you may have to use a diaper rash ointment with zinc oxide like butt paste. My DD actually got a yeast diaper rash that was only treatable with a prescribed cream from the ped. Just keep your eye on it. If it doesnt start to go away with the stronger diaper rash cream call the doctor.

Diaper rash
I use a&d everyday for normal changes. When dd has a rash I use triple paste.

Re: Diaper rash
I agree with using a diaper cream with zinc oxide. Also, let your DD hang out without a diaper on as much as possible. Hope her rash clears up quickly!

We always have to stop using wipes and switch to the cvs wipes where you add water. Only things that clears her up with tons of butt paste.

Re: Diaper rash
Agree with the others - use something with the zinc oxide. You should also probably stop using wipes until it clears up. Warm water and soft paper towels work, unless you have a soft cotton cloth you can use.
