DH made me cry last night
I am going to preface this by saying that whatever we have, boy or girl, we are THRILLED.
However, when we were talking about gender, he said that he almost wishes it is a girl so that she won't have to deal with possibly having testicular cancer. I started to cry. He explained that while he would love a son, he's afraid the son would develop testicular cancer like he did and he wants to spare his child from that.
I couldn't stop crying.

Hollie I understand how a parent would want to protect their children from the very beginning. If we could spare them all any ounce of pain, we would. Your DH is an exceptional man. Your child will be so blessed to have you both as parents.
