DH and I had the talk...
and I'm just nervous of course. We're ready to start TTC shortly. Not immediately though but I guess there are some things I need to start soon, right?
I've been on the pill and the ring (not at the same time) on and off for about 2 years straight.
We're hoping for a range of being pregnant maybe around May-ish?
Any help, advice, tips would be greatly appreciated.

I would say to go off the BC soon because it can take a few months to get your cycles regulated again. Good luck!

I think if you start AF on Sunday you can finish off your pack and then not take any when you're supposed to start your pack again....Don't just stop taking BC in the middle of a pack, it messes you up royally!!!

ITA with this. i would BD either with condoms or another form of protection for the first couple of months if you want to get your cycles to regulate. that being said, DH and i just went with the flow, and it took us four cycles to get PG, so i'm glad we didn't use any protection when i went off BC.

It can take up to 6 months to get your body back on track from being on the pill! Good luck and here's some for May!

ITA with all of the earlier posters. I've been off the pill since August and I'm still not on a regular cycle.
Give your body a few months to adjust. If you really don't want to get pregnant until May I would suggest using condoms or spermicide jells.
