decreased movement?

today the baby hasnt been as active as she usually is. i went to the dr on thurs (my due date) and had a sono and a non stress test and everything looked good. im gonna be induced on tuesday. i have been having more contractions, could this be causing her stress? should i be worried? i hate to call the dr if its nothing, i always feel so stupid and i dont want him to tell me to go to the hospital just to be sent home.

Re: decreased movement?

Did you try drinking cold juice and lying down? I would try a few tricks before calling DD might be just resting

Re: decreased movement?

The closer you get to your due date, and you are pretty close, the less the baby will move simply by virtue of the fact that there is less room in there. I am sure you and the baby are fine.

Re: decreased movement?

Also, think about how crowded she is in your belly. She probably can't move around much. I would call your doc anyway to let her/him know what you are feeling. That is what they are there for!! Chat Icon Chat Icon
