1. I know you think you are dying of some unknown, african virus that was transported by some superstrength mosquito and injected into your veins, and that's why you can't take care of our daughter, you can't pick up after yourself, and you're spending your third day home from work, but I have to tell you something:
YOU HAVE A COMMON COLD. GET OVER IT.
2. I know because you are dying of this rare, unknown african disease that you aren't thinking clearly, but last night, when you were walking Sparky, without a leash, and he ran after a skunk, and you saw him get sprayed, do you REALLY think it was the brightest idea to let him right back into the house where he frolicked on our couches, rubbed himself all over the brand new pottery barn carpet runner I just bought, and hang out in our bedroom?
Because, I for one, don't think it was, and I'm sitting in a pool of STANK right now, listening to my co-workers ask one another, "do you smell that? what is it?", while you sit at home, watch TV, and because of your COLD you can't smell the stank hovering over your head.

P.S. Hope you don't mind that this morning I piled all my and Alex's clothes into the washer, and then piled yours into a pile on the floor and directed Sparky to "Play". But, I'm sure he didn't infect your clothes, as I WAS the one who had to wash him last night 
P.P.S. I've decided to do a generous act of true kindness to my co-workers by spending my lunch hour shopping for a brand-spanking new outfit to change into. I'll tell them it was your credit card...ur... generosity

Oh, wait, did I FAIL to mention that I spent the day working from home, ur, I mean, tending to my sick husband, while also pulling out the line of trees that have started growing in our backyard because no one has done any weeding in the past year.
Oh, on top of that, didn't get home until 10pm because I was out shopping with my 72 year old father for five hours for his new furniture?
So, in sum. Husband sat around all day watching tv. Husband got up ONCE, right before I got home, to walk dog.
Good wife... pffffffffffffffft.
