Dear alcoholic...
i hate you i hate you i hate you yet i cant because of who you are. i know you can't help it. you are an embarassment the last couple years. yes. you are embarassing. get help. you need it. you can't hide the fact that you drink no matter how slick you think you are. we're on to you. we've been on to you. everyone has. every.single.one.of.us.
i know you are depressed. but are you depressed because you drink or do you drink because youre depressed. and fyi antidepressents don't work wihen taken with alcohol.
they need you. we all need you. and you need to clean your mother effing act up because one day- you are going to turn around and nobody will be there for you.
I hate to say it. trust me i do. espically because of who you are to me.

This was rock-bottom for an alcoholic that I love very much. He's the only success story that I know of - that incident in his life ended his lifetime of alcohol abuse. He's been dry for 13 years and I'm extremely proud of him.
As with him and other alcholics in my life, I have struggled with the same emotions you are having. FM me anytime if you want to discuss it in greater detail.
Al-Anon gave me a foundation to work from in how to think and feel about these situations. I am not religious by any means but although God (or a 'higher power') figures into it, I never felt pressured to become more devout.
I wish you strength.

Everytime I say something i'm in the wrong. Of course he blames other people, work anything but himself.
An intervention was needed years ago but everytime we tired nothing worked.
It's real bad. I don't know what to do anymore.
Please help me. FM me please... I think I"m desperate
