They couldn't put a urine bag on her??? That's what they did for my daughter to try and avoid the catherter but since they had to check her kidneys with dye in the end she wound up with it anyways

Well everything went well with the catheter. She did very good didn't move and really didn't cry. As soon as they put it in they took it out about 5 minutes later. They did the urine tests and they all came back negative they thought she might have a urinary tract infection. Her urine had a strong oder and it all came back negativeI am very proud of my little brave girl she did so good I took her for ice cream after and we I let her stay up a little later then usual

THey tried to do the bag last week and the first time she not only peed in the bag she did number 2 as well (sorry TMI) So they had to put another bag on her and she was holding it in she would let only a llittle bit out here and there as soon as the nurse took it off we couldn't put the diaper on fast enough. Put it this way there was a huge puddle in the drs. office. So they tested what they had but it wasn't enough and thats why they did the catheter. I am happy its over with and she is fine.
