DC and nudey parents?
I feel weird asking this but I'm really curious.
DS will be 2 next month and loves climbing in the shower with me (or DH!) I also still get dressed in front of him sometimes.
How old is too old? When did you stop letting DC see you in the buff? Or did you never let them see you?
I don't want him to remember anything one day!

My older DS is almost 3, and I stopped showering with him/changing in front of him just very recently. I still do it with my 11 month old DS.

I stopped when my older one was 3 and I stopped even earlier with my younger one because the older one was jealous. Lol But they do still bath together. Not every time, but if I'm in a rush the go I'm together.
I try not to dress in front of them, but if they walk in its not a big deal either. I'm not embarrassed about my body and don't want them to be either. But we do talk about our privates bring private. It's ok fir mommy or daddy or the Dr. to see them naked, but that's it.

Showering like 3. As far as Changing, I just recently tried to limit it but when Im rushing to get ready I still do it.
He's 5, im pretty sure im teetering on scarring him somehow.

A bit after 3. Went swimming at the gym pool, got both of us in the shower. He screamed mommy your butt is really really really fat! No More of that, I don't appreciate verbal abuse

DD is 8 and DS is 4..I shower alone but if they open the door and walk in then I dont blink an eye...the same when I am changing...I dont necessarily change on front of them but again if they walk in while i am changing which they do then its no big deal..I am pretty nonchalant about nudity. My kids still like to take baths together as they have so much fun and I let them as I dont see anything wrong with it.

Good question! DD is only 5 months old, but I wonder when I'll stop being nude around her, if at all. My mom was never nude around me, so I wonder what I'll do with her.

Thanks ladies. I had a friend get in my ear that hasn't let their DD see them naked since before she turned 1. I wanted to make sure I wasn't scarring him for life

They are 3. I will change my shirt or pants quick with ds in the room but never nude.
I will occasionally shower with dd when I am alone with the kids so that ds and dd don't kill each other while I'm in the shower.

My son is just shy of 2.5 and I haven't thought of stopping yet...I think maybe close to 4?
This might be sexist but with a girl I wouldn't stop, my mom always changed it front of me but never my brother....

I change in front of them... and they can't let me shower in peace...
DS sees that HE is different from his sister & me & I encourage DH to be naked around him a bit. It's early sex ed. He's got a "hose" & girls have "holes" as per DS (3.5).
I think the whole "naked" thing is overkill.
When they are teenagers, or pre-teens or uncomfortable, we can stop.

i'm generally really modest about things like that, so not your average answer
i think i stopped letting DS into the shower at 7 months, DH took him in until 1.
As for dressing, i don't think he's ever seen me without undergarments. When changing, i lock my bedroom door. if he manages to open it, i turn away form him so he never sees me.
with DH, he's seen him in his underwear. DH knows how much i hate that, so DS now tells him, "daddy, you need a shirt"

Not sure if it's different because I have a girl, but she is 3 1/2 and I still get naked in front of her . I don't see that changing anytime soon.

My mom took showers with me quick in the morning probably until I was about six. I remember it and definitely remember her washing my long hair- but I don't " remember her naked" if that makes sense.
eta I have boys. I took a shower with ds1 a few times but wouldn't feel comfortable now that he's 4. I think it's more my own hang ups though. I sort of get dressed in front of them- but I don't like prance around and I turn away when my boobs are coming out.
My two year old pointed to my naked ass once and said "boobies". That was very horrifying to me.

Ha!! This gave me a good LOL. 
DS turned 2 last month & I just started feeling funny about changing in front of him, but I still do it if I'm in a hurry. I think 6 months to a year from now I'll def make sure he's not in the room.

Same. DD sees me in the shower every morning and lays in my bed while I get ready. She always sees me naked and always comments on my boobs.

I'm a freak apparently. My DDs (8 and 4) see me naked daily. My son I stopped when he was 3 or so. I don't care if my DDs see me naked. They will grow up knowing that a body is nothing to be ashamed of, and that real women come in all shapes and sizes. I'm all about being body positive!

My DS (2YO) will shower with my DH. I try and limit how much he sees me naked but in the morning he is running around the house and I am trying to get dressed so I just don't make a big deal about it so he never seems to stop running to look.

I have a girl so I guess I don't think about it much, except when she yelled at me to "get dressed" when I went into her room to see why she was crying the other morning (as I was trying to get ready)...great for the self esteem! I know DH freaks if she walks in on him in the bathroom and he has NEVER been completely naked in front of her. I don't see the big deal, she's only 2 but he is uncomfortable with it.

I'm with ya. I dont have girls, but if I did-I would do the same. I ask my sons(5) to give me some privacy, but if they see me naked no biggie. Although I don't blatantly get undressed in front of them

I tend to agree - to the extent possible, at that point I'd try hard to cover up, stop letting him in shower, etc. but Not freak out of he sees me.
But what age is that LOL? I asked my mom how long she let me shower with her and she said 3 or 4, which likely means 5 knowing my mom! I asked because I remember showering with her - I don't have her naked body burned in my mind, but I can recall.
