Daycare moms- Labeling Bottles
DS goes to daycare and we send three bottles into daycare everyday. Over the summer he was the only child with the Playtex dropins but since the beginning of September another child began daycare and also uses the Playtex Drop-Ins.
I label all of DS bottles with a Sharpie however when they get washed they name washes off and I have to re-label them everyday. I know it takes two seconds but DH moves my sharpie everyday and then it turns into a bigger ordeal than it has to be.
So my questions is how do you label bottles so that the name/Initials do not wash away? Any suggestions.

Inchbug.com sells orbit bands. You personalize with DCs name. Its like a rubber band that you can stretch around the bootle (sippy cups too) love it! The name is indented into the rubber. You never have to take it off because it can ve washed on the bottle (i throw it inthe dishwasher on the bottle)

We got these and love them, too...now I only use sharpie on the lids, but that's no biggie..I like that these bands can be used on cups, etc. as well...

My daycare gives us dishwasher save labels. We reuse the same label and just cross out the date.

Ditto, I got one of those Brother label makers for $15 and they work so well. The daycare DS used to go to also use the same label maker and the labels really stay on for a long time!
I also got the name labels but those are becoming too expensive.

We had Playtex Drop-ins, too, and we used labels by Stuck on You:

We would label both the drop-in holder and the cap. The labels lasted more than a year, even through daily washings.

Re: Daycare moms- Labeling Bottles
regular label maker from walmart. Worked like a charm
I replaced them like 3 times in the year or more we labeled.
