Daycare moms- labeling question

I'm sure this will be the first of several lame questions regarding daycare.

I have to label his blanket, spare set of clothes etc. How did you label such things?

My mom had some fabric tape when I was in nursery school. Can anyone recommend a good site to get stuff like this.

TIA Chat Icon I need all the help I can get Chat Icon

I have a Sharpie "Rub a Dub" laundry marker that I used to label all of DD's things...If there was a tag, I put her initials on the tag...if not, depending on what it was, I would write directly on the fabric.

I got the marker in the supermarket

I use Mabel's Labels for Sarah's camp things. They are great. I use the shoe labels, tag mates on all clothes & towels and the sticky labels on her lunch bag and camp bag. Have had no problems washing the clothes with them on. Haven't needed to put them on anything for the dishwasher so I can't speak to how well they work there.

I have clothing tattoos from Stuckonyou.net that I use for his clothes and blankets.

I have shoe labels that I use for his sneakers and vinyl labels for all the other stuff.

Another Stuckonyou user! Loved them for the clothes and bottles/cups/bowls for daycare. I just ordered Nicholas some of their pencil labels for school because he is always losing his pencils.

I use these too. They work great in the dishwasher and microwave, but not if you sterilize the bottles in boiling water. They will come off.
