Daycare and bottles
Dd is starting daycare in a few weeks. We have to supply formula, bottles, and water.
At home, we boil tap water.
What do I bring to daycare? Nursery water, distiller water, Poland springs?!
Is it ok it won't be boiled?
Thanks!!

Re: Daycare and bottles
Check with your daycare. Ours would NOT mix formula. So we made it at home in individual bottles and they used a bottle warmer for everyone's bottles.

Re: Daycare and bottles
Also, we always just used Poland spring for room temp if eating at home, brita filter for daycare when they would ultimately be heating it,

Re: Daycare and bottles
our LO took his bottles room temperature so we would pre-fill his bottles with water and label with how many ounces and then we measured out the formula into the little sectioned container with a matching label, so it kind of dummy-proofed the mixing part. No measuring involved, just matching the bottle to the section of formula and shaking it up.

Re: Daycare and bottles
Are you using my brother's daycare? We always use Poland spring and it's fine! Ask Steve what he used for the babysitter.

Yes we are.
We are not pre making, because they said they'll do it for us.
I guess I'll bring in Poland springs

Get a reusable pitcher, boil tap water at home and then bring that!

I make them ahead of time and they warm them for me. Works for me. I use the dr Browns pitcher to make the formula.

Daycare and bottles
We never used boiled water, even when she was first born. We actually use mostly tapped. But at daycare, we supply them with a gallon of poland spring or whatever other brand is at the store. They make the formula there.
