Date night ideas
Besides going out to dinner, what do you do for a date night. We go out to dinner a lot, but then we usually just go home (and since DH likes to eat on the early side, that means we're home by 8:00). Yes, we could go to a movie, but I'm looking for some other fun things to do. We're not big drinkers generally, so don't want to go to a bar just to hang out, but definitely not opposed to a nice lounge for a glass of wine or something like that. I feel like we've gotten so boring

Yes a comedy show would be great.
Or someplace with live music or a concert at like the Paramount.

This is a little out there, depending on if you would be into it, but we were going to do Curling together but I ended up not being able to go with DH. That's something different. Or an escape room would be fun.

We go to concerts. But it's usually dinner just the two of us or dinner with friends. I know you said besides movies, but we do that too lol.

Funny, we've actually done that and loved it! Unfortunately DH is usually not available on Friday nights in the fall and that's when they have their lessons/games etc

People are super into those Paint Nights! I've heard good things.
Also there's that whole Escape the Room fad going on now which could be fun.

Check Pinterest for the date night jar! I made a jar with 60 date nights using popsicle sticks in a jar with different themes (nights in, nights out $, nights out $$$, and weekend trips). It was so cute and easy and made it fun to pick a date. Plus it was things we were both interested in or random things we wouldn't think to do..
Here are some of the ideas I used:
-Bowling
-Mini-golfing
-Hike
-Specific town (IE: Northport, walk around and eat there)
-Boardwalk Stroll
-Picnic in a park
-Gamenight
-"Blackout" Night - Only candles allowed.
-Comedy Show
-Wine Bar
-Brewery
-Kayaking
