Dandelions!
Any tricks or ideas on how to eliminate them permanently? DH has tried weed killer, pulling them, mowing them and they still come back! They weren't there when I left for work yesterday morning and by the time I got home last night, there they were and even bigger than ever!!

Scotts step 2, active ingredient is 2,4-D. This is a terrible toxin with terrible side effects. Not much differernt from Agent Orange. So yes, it will kill your dandelions but to me not worth the toxins.
The best way to remove your dandelions without pesticides is by the root. My DH is a licensed pesticide applicator, and after taking all of the classes and workshops refuses to put any pesticide of that sort on our lawn. Dandelions are a pain, but he digs them up with my daughter and they make it into a game.

Re: Dandelions!
Someone at Hicks, I think, told my mom not to spray them until it gets a bit warmer. He said the sprays don't work in the colder spring we are having and not to waste her time.
Now that it's a bit warmer you might want to try spraying them again.
