Daddy's called by his first name!
Julia no longer calles DH Dada, she walkes around the house saying TODD, TODD! I can't stop laughing, Its the funniest thing.
I guess shes been hanging out with my niece to much, and my niece is always calling my DH his first name.
I'm trying to get Julia to say DA-DA but she just starts yelling TODD, TODD again-lol

Very common.
Patrick still calls his Daddy John. It kills me. I have corrected him & he goes into stages of Daddy. But, 95% of the time its John.

The worst is when I correct in stores. People give me looks like "that cruel woman is making her son call some other guy daddy"

My nephew calls my brother Bob - it's so funny!! Every time he does it everyone says "No, Daddy!!!" and He looks at us like Yeah, that's what I said! nods his little head and says "Bob!"

And this is why parents start calling each other "Daddy" or "Mommy" for a short period of time.
DH couldn't stand it when our children called him by his first name. I'd hear Maddie say "(Name)l! (Name)! I need you upstairs!" I would hear him yell, "I'm Daddy!" Then I would hear "Ok Daddy. (Name), can you come here?"

My nephew does this as a joke! he is a little wisea$$. He'll say hi Jim then laugh and run away because my BIL tickles him when he does it.

That's funny - but watch out. That's how it started with me when I was little. I don't know how or if my parents tried to correct me but I have NEVER called my father "daddy" or "dad" because I started calling him by his first name ever since I could say it.
