Re: Cruise with a 6 month old
We took DD when she was 8 months old on a cruise. If you formula feed, bring the small bottles and not the larger jug style as the refrigerators keep things chilled and not the correct temperature for formula.
Calculate the number of diapers you use in a typical day and then bring extra enough for two additional days.
Bring your own portable/reclining high chair. DD would fall asleep during meals and the reclining chair let her sleep and we could eat hands free.
Some people on cruise critic recommended bringing a blow up tub/pool for you to use and to use it as a tub/pool.
Check to make sure you can cruise at 6 months. Some lines have age restrictions.

Re: Cruise with a 6 month old
thank you for the heads up! i looks into it and it looks like all cruises require infants to be 6 months as of the first day of the trip --looks like we have to change our plans!
