Cr*p...I dropped the ball big time! Re: Christening.

With the craziness of going back to work, I completely forgot to book DD's christening. We were going to book it at this italian place by us and we waited too long and now the date is unavailable.

Im freaking.

I need to find a place for about 30 adults, 10 kids for Nov. 6 in the late afternoon (ceremony is at 1).

I wanted to keep it more towards 20PP than 30PP and I know a lot of the common places to check are 28ish.

Ugh.

ANy ideas?

ETA: IT woud be eastern suffolk area.

No suggestions but wanted to reassure you that ours will be the week after yours and we just booked and I haven't asked the godmother yet because I want to ask her in person and we haven't been able to get together yet.

Re: Cr*p...I dropped the ball big time! Re: Christening.

My rehearsal dinner was at Gino's in East Islip. right up the street from our church (St. Mary's). Not sure why we chose it but they were GREAT. We had the whole back of the restaurant, the service was fantastic and the food was very good. It was definitely more laid back (but that's what we wanted). The price was amazing for everything we got.

This is one of our favorite restaurants! The room you rent is a good size for your group too.
