Crazy shopping experience yesterday
So after yoga yesterday I called DH to tell him I had to run to the mall and pick up a stocking stuffer gift for him (it was my LAST thing to get) and I told him I'd be about a half hour or so depending on the lines.
So knowing I had to run to the mall for his gift, that morning I grabbed a reward card thing I got for Victoria Secret. I went shopping there last month and they gave each person a card with different values on it... like $10 off, $20 off ,etc all the way up to like $500. You find out the amount when you use it but it expired on the 24th so I figured I might as well use. So I pick up one thing and when I go up the cashier, I hand her my purchase and the card and she rings it thru and says to me "you're a winner." Now I don't know why she said that, bc EVERY card had something off... so I just kind of looked at her blankly. So she goes "your card is worth $500."
So I got an impromptu $500 VS shopping spree! 3 bags and 2 hrs later I finally make it home and my DH's jaw hits the floor thinking I went crazy shopping ... so I explain everything and then proceed to happily go thru all my purchases and wish myself a merry christmas!
