Re: Crashing to ask a question!

30 and 35 refers to how many pounds the baby can be thats in it.

we have the chicco polly high chair- http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3687545&fromRegistryNumber=45644103&product_skn=949755

I just wanted something that had wheels and reclined in case the baby fell asleep while eating so I could leave him there to nap- and this matched our living room lol

Re: Crashing to ask a question!

I have the regular one- it goes up to 22 pounds.
Trust me when I tell you- my DD is only 16.5 pounds and it is getting VERY hard for me to lift her and carry her around in that thing.
I can't imagine carrying her around at 35 or even 32 pounds in that thing.
I would stick with the regular snugride.
The idea of using it longer is nice, but not practical.

Re: Crashing to ask a question!

hi! I got the Graco 35 and let me tell you that bad boy is hard to lug around and my DD is only 5 months. My husband can barely carry it LOL... Now that I know better I would get the 30 for sure. My DD is 15lbs now, and even though it COULD hold 35 doesnt mean youll be using it till the baby is 35lbs, ya know?

For the high chair I got the Fisher Price Zen I picked it cause its gender nuetral enough so I can use it for my next baby. Also, It fully reclines and has whells to move around.

I had a Graco travel system..not the Snugride so I'm no help to you there.

Instead of a high chair we decided to go with a booster seat.

We have this one by Safety 1st:

Re: Crashing to ask a question!

As per the Graco Snugride-I have the regular 22 pound one. DD is 17 pounds. While I fully intend to use it all winter again, that thing is going to break my back! I hear the babies like the convertible seat better because it is roomier and they can see outside. That being said, I do love the option of still using the snap and go. But I am lucky in the regards that I have one of the tiniest 10.5 month olds I know. But if it wasn't winter, I probably would not want to lug that thing anymore. Definitely not to 35 pounds-I would die! I would say the 30 pound is perfectly adequate, even the 22. They also all have height limits and most babies will get to the height limit (29 or 30 inches I believe) before the weight. Also the convertible seats go up to 35lbs rear facing (we will be keeping DD rear facing as long as possible)

As for the high chair-we have the Graco wood high chair. I think it is a matter of preference. A lot of parents like the ones that recline. I've used many people's high chairs, from Graco to Evenflo to Chicco. I see no difference, but that is me. I would get based on what you like.

And I wanted to tell you Kristin that you look awesome! All belly! So cute!

Re: Crashing to ask a question!

we have the reg snugride. im glad i didnt get the larger one bc its getting too hard to get into the car-i practically have to fling her in. Chat Icon she is 7.5m n we are going to have to put her in the convertible one soon. theres no way she would be able to stay there until 33 or 35lbs.
we have the Fisher Price Precious Planet High Chair its great.

we have the chicco keyfit 30. honestly, i dont think anyone leaves their child in an infant seat at 30+ pounds. Jack is 20-21lbs and we are pushing it.

we have the graco blossom highchair and LOVE it Chat Icon

Ditto...i wish I got the regular one. The 32 is heavier to carry from the beginning and even though technically I could still use it, we put him in the convertible at 6 months bc he was way to heavy to carry and wanted him to be able to see and more comfy
