Cramps before O?

So do you typically get cramps only during O? Or leading up to it?
I haven't gotten an positive OPK yet--CD16 today and won't be testing until 7:45 tonight b/c I forgot my stick Hope I don't miss my surge.

Anyway, I've been having creamy CM. No EWCM yet...it got more runny Sat, now kind of lotion-y. Still in a line (someone on here just told me about the line vs the fertile circle of CM). But this am I'm having cramps in lower pelvic area. Those that feel mittelschmerz, does it only happen during or before?

It can actually vary greatly from woman to woman. Some feel the pain before Oing, some during, and some a day or two later. So anything is possible.
