Cradle or right into crib?
Sorry to barge on your board, but I had a question for some experienced mommies. I was wondering if you used a cradle in your room or if you put the baby right into the crib. I live in an apartment and I am never more than 50 feet away, so we were considering not using a cradle. What did you do? Thanks!

We have a one bedroom, so her crib is in our room.
I still used a bassinet, I liked having her right next to me so I can check on her all night. The crib is about 6 feet from my bed, btw!

We put Michael in a bassinet in the beginning. He is still in there, but in the next few weeks when he is 3 months we will start the transition.

Put DS in his crib in our room. When he was around 4 months I put him in his room.

We used a bassinet for 5 days then it was straight to the crib.
I think you can go straight into the crib.

My first 2 used a bassinet but they had their own rooms to go into eventually. Since DS #2 is going to be in our bedroom for a few months, we put him right into the crib.

Same here. Being that you are so close, I would skip the bassinett. it's an extra piece of to store in limited space....
