coxsackie and siblings

So the baby has coxsackie. i discovered her fever sunday afternoon. i thought it was just teething but then we took her to PM pediatrics Monday night and found out it's coxsackie. the four year old has been fine so we sent her to daycare tuesday and today. today she came home from daycare and she feels a little warm. when i picked her up today i got the vibe that other parents were pissed that i sent her since the baby was sick. She's been fine (until this afternoon!) ! Did I do the wrong thing?? Now I feel like when I keep DD home tomorrow the other parents are going to freak out and be all " i knew they should have kept her home to begin with!!" but she was fine and i also thought by sending her to daycare i was avoiding the spread of germs.

I think if your DC doesn't have symptoms, it's not practical to keep her home. Any symptoms and she stays home. She may or may not get it, so I can't imagine you keeping her home for days, then if she does get it, she has to stay home that much longer. I say watch closely for symptoms and take it from there.
