Cow's Milk
My dr recommended 2% milk for my 1 year old who is on the bigger side and to limit to about 12oz a day. Just curious as to what was recommended for others?

From 1-2 my drs recommended whole milk and said 16-18 oz was ideal. DD was in the 95% for weight.

DD had always been on the big side and the doc put her on 2% milk, 6 oz. 3x a day, from when she turned 2.

My twin boys just turned 3. We have been on 2 % for some time.
I have one boy that wont drink milk; the other drinks ALOT.

we always did whole milk from 1-2. up to 20 oz a day.
that being said dd2 doesn't get much milk b/c it constipates her. She's 19 months now and I switched her 2 % b/c we were wasting the whole milk. I've been giving her a little more and prune juice in between lol

My doc said whole milk from 1-2 no more than 16-18 oz daily. We usually give about 12 oz's

My DS is 8th percentile for weight. We were recommended whole milk only, up to 20 oz a day PLUS we still nurse a few times a day.
