If DC didn't like cow's milk at first, what did you do?
I started giving DS cow's milk this weekend. I gave him 2 oz in a sippy cup during one meal per day. He took a few sips and then started spitting it out after each sip. He wanted something to drink b/c he kept taking sips, but then he'd spit the milk all out. He usually gets water in a sippy cup with meals and does pretty well.
I figured I could put it in a bottle, warm it up and/or mix it with BM. I was really hoping to give up the pump though.
What worked best for DC when transitioning to milk? How long did it take before DC liked milk? If you mixed cow's milk with BM or formula, how much of each did you use? TIA.

DD HATED regular milk for the longest time (she was EBF).
The ONLY thing that helped us eventually was to put a little bit (maybe an ounce) of Horizon Chocolate milk mixed in. For some reason she liked it that way and drank it.
She will still drink her "chocolate" milk that way too. But there's barely even an ounce of chocolate in there

We did the same thing...at the pediatrician's recommendation. We really started that when we were transitioning to the sippy cup. He felt that whatever it took to get her to drink milk was fine. She never drank much from the time I took away her bottle anyway (18 months).

DS didn't like it cold, he'd spit it out, but if I warm it up, he'll drink it.
