Confused!!! Really long but maybe you girls can offer insight?

So AF came on August 9th. In a perfect world if my cycle was regular this month I would probably get it again on Sept 7th. we were taking to "go with the flow" method this month but I did use the OPKs for a few weeks. I got a faint line last Wednesday and then on Thursday night into Friday morning I started getting what I thought was EWCM and a pain in my right side. I know normally the faint line is a negative on the line tests but the truth is I can't hold my pee (I literally pee every hour) and this was the first time I ever got at all so I figured it had to mean something. Then I stopped using them because they were getting on my nerves and I assumed I was done.

Fast forward to today.... Exactly a week later I am definitely having a discharge and more of it (and looks more like EWCM this time) Could I be O'ing NOW and last week was just my body tricking me?? I normally have a pretty regular cycle although the last two months have been a little weird. I didn't think I could even O this late if I am supposed to get AF in 5 days. I am just so confused! This our first month trying and it is the first time I feel like I have ever really paid attention to my body. To top it off, I am really sick with stomach issues so I don't even want to right now so I can't help but feel like I am out this month already and it's making me a bit bummed.

I think CM is a tough thing to read into. I tend to have it after I O and pretty much right up until AF. It could be an unusually long cycle or you could have missed your + on the OPK. I wouldn't stress too much, especially if you're feeling sick.

Maybe next month you should try the CBE digital OPK. I liked them soo much better than the line tests because you can take it first thing in the morning instead of counting the minutes until you can pee.
