cold/flu-like symptoms?

I know this is a long shot, but I started to get a sore throat around 5DPO. Yesterday I still had the sore throat when I woke up, but I felt totally fine by the end of the day. Today (7DPO) I woke up and it feels like my sinuses are all congested, but I can breathe just fine. I am pretty achy and generally tired, but I also haven't been able to sleep well for two days. I've researched a little and it seems that lot of women get these kinds of symptoms before a BFP. Has anyone else had them too? I guess I'm just being hopeful!

I had exactly those symptoms this month starting around the same time and the sore throat lasted until at least 15 dpo! The congestion was disgusting and the worst I ever had.... I was taking mucinex almost every night for a week!! I hope you're on your way to a BFP too!!!!!

i had the worst congestion i have ever had in my life. no other symptons though. it could have been attributed to pregnancy. i read the same as you

I was just ill with the "flu" last month. Then I got slammed again with a cold, severe, congestion and all that goes with it. Everyone kept saying, "Oh, you need to boost your immune system because you were just sick." I just couldn't understand it. Well, I tested on Tuesday an got my BFP. I retested last night and got my BFP again. So yes, it is possible.

i had this starting at 5dpo and swore up and down for a wekk i was getting a cold...i got my bfp and the "cold" is gone! i hope that it turns out that way for you too!!

Crashing- about a week before my BFP for 2 days I had a bad cold and very sore throat, then it went away. I had NO other symptoms! Hope its good news for you!

I had a runny nose early on and still have it at 11w!

Thanks to everyone who answered! I guess I didn't even realize it's more common than I even thought! I am keeping my fingers crossed that the end result is the same for me. I will know for sure by Tuesday!

at about 7dpo i had that with my first... but it ended up being ectopic.

I'm only 4DPO and I feel like crap. Has some bathroom issues (tmi) and feel exhausted. Lightheaded, dizzy and achy as well today. Now while trying to sleep, I got this wave of nausea that won't quit.

I wonder if it's just the flu or the beginning of something. I keep thinking it's too soon to be a BFP causing this but of course I'm hoping that's the case.

I had those symptoms right around my implantation time! And I was almost convinced I was preg bc this was summertime and I'm never sick then. So it def could end up in a bfp for you soon! Good luck!!!
