Re: Coffee?

Not at all. From what I've been told the mother and baby do not even share blood until the 5th or 6th week of pregnancy. And even at that time I have also heard that caffeine in moderation is a okay.

I'm personally living my life as normal (eating and drinking whatever I want) until I get my BFP!

Re: Coffee?

I am also trying to live my life as "regular" as possible. The only think I have done, besides taking prenatal vitamins, is to drastically cut out soda.

Re: Coffee?

The only thing I have read is that caffiene can effect fertility. I havent really researched the issue though. I just read it in some random article on the internet.

Re: Coffee?

I asked my midwife about this, b/c I need at least a cup of coffee in the morning in order for my heart to beat. She said to keep it to one 12 oz cup a day, and there shouldn't be any side effects to fertility.

i agree, I am just going with the flow. I think that changing things up TOO much while TTC will throw me off, add stress and make it tougher Chat Icon

I am sipping on coffee as we speak and DH has his that am too!
