closing costs on refi
anyone know closing costs on a refi through bethpage v. wells fargo?
would you pick your bank based on lower interest rate? or lower closing costs?

I don't know specifically about those lenders and what they are currently offering, but credit unions usually have good rates AND closing costs, from what I've heard.
Personally, I think the rate is more important, esp. if the term of your loan is long (30 year) and you plan to be in your house for awhile. Rates are going to start going up again eventually. I'd rather lock in the lowest rate possible for more financial savings in the long run.
If you don't plan to be in the house that long, then I guess it may make sense to minimize the cost of the re-fi, so you'd have to look at the numbers more closely.
