You are so reading my mind, i was thinking of those yesterday...
I sooo remember those, my mom would hide them on top of fridge and i would climb the kitchen table to get to them. Now tho i dont think i would eat them. but i still can taste them and remember how they felt in the mouth ... so weird.
eta: do they even make them still?

Yes, I've found them at Target, CVS, Walmart...the orange & the multi-colored ones.

I haven't seen these things in a long time. I think my step-mom likes them. I just remember that I liked to squish them, but I did not like to eat them.

First point: I can't remember the last time I had those. I remember I liked them as a kid, but I can't remember what they taste like.

OMG! One of my friends in HS used to eat them ALL THE TIME during lunch and each time I wanted to gag! I even shouted her out for this in our yearbook!!!!!!

I love them and had them yesterday! You can only have a few at a time though.. they are so sugary it hurts my belly to eat the whole bag.
