Chuck E. Cheese Party Advice
Just booked a party at Chuck E. Cheese for my son's 4th birthday. Any advice? Anything we should avoid?

Re: Chuck E. Cheese Party Advice
We had a couple of parties there over the years, and the kids all had a great time. I always printed coupons from the internet to get extra tokens, since you don't usually get a ton with the party. I also used coupons to order the adult pizzas and drinks (many coupons include both), because the extras really add up. Especially the drinks. They just set the cups down and count how many you used. I will say, not many parents ate with us though, they usually had siblings and went off to their own table and did their own thing, which was fine! Have fun!

I didn't even think to look for coupons.
We went with the unlimited tokens during the party. It's $5 extra per person, but I didn't want people to run out of tokens during the party, and my DH said the tokens went fast when he went to a party there with DS.

We had my DD"s 4th birthday at one and it was a BLAST. They literally took care of everything - cake, decorations, favors. It was awesome. Everyone had fun, parents and kids! Have a great time! He's going to love it!

Oh wow, that is totally worth it! It's been a long time since we had a party there, and they didn't have that option back then!

Just bring hand sanitizer and wipe down EVERYTHING. I did my sons 6th birthday there and 4 kids ended up coming down with a BAD stomach virus 2 days later (my son included).

We did this too when my son turned 4. It was great. We had the whole place to ourselves and they ate around 11/11:30 which is a perfect time for lunch, lol.

We did the 10am party. Figured the food would be around 11 or 11:30, and then we'll have some down time after before family comes over in the evening to celebrate.
I'm so glad to hear positive experiences. My DH and I weren't sure about Chuck E cheese for the party but DS insisted it was what he wanted.
