I want to know more about this! I'm reading to go through ICE is only 30 min. How many nights did you stay? Did you feel there were a lot of other activities to keep you busy for a weekend?
We stayed for 2 nights. There is the Capital Wheel and the stores, small park at the National Harbor. We also went into DC on our departure day.
The ICE stuff is super cold, so while you can stay as long as you want...you probably wouldn't last more than an hour. That's about how long we lasted. They also have gingerbread house decorating, which we did after the ICE, along with a Carousel, a scavenger hunt, pics with Santa, an evening show in the atrium. The hotel is GORGEOUS and decorated so nicely. We actually went over Thanksgiving weekend, and it was perfect.

Enjoy!! Keep checking back for specials, because they often run them on their FB page! Then you can just cancel and rebook (if you haven't already paid)
OH AND, I just remembered that we actually bought a groupon for the ICE portion. I remember it being really discounted over the price of purchasing it through the hotel!

We are taking the kids to Charlie Brown Christmas in November and every year we take them to see Mooseltoe. We usually do the polar express but Im not sure which one we will do. I also want to take them to see Radio Christmas Spectacular but I don't know.
