Christmas...yes, I'm crazy
I know it's way too early for this but I was thinking about Christmas activities and wanted to look into things that sell out quickly. I know there is the Santa experience and the Polar Express...anything else?

I actually purchased tickets for a mythbusters live experience with Adam Savage. It is just before the holidays but I spoke with my kids and asked if they wanted it as a holiday present. They said yes, so we are going.

I looked up the polar express by me and they're not on sale yet. I think my 3 year old will love it. He actually makes me read his Christmas books all the time and loves singing Christmas songs!!

The Gaylord National Harbor has an excellent Christmas event, with ICE. We did it 2 years ago and loved it!

Sadly... not too early.
We've never done it before and kids are the perfect age (5&6) to get a lot out of it.

My dd loves polar express. We have done it the last 2 years. We always booked early. We are passing this year because I want to wait till next year when the newest baby is over a year.
I told dd we have to go to target so she can start coming up with ideas for her list because I always start shopping early.

It really is! The ICE part is amazing!! The slides inside, the carvings, etc. So neat! And just all of the other activities they had were so family friendly. The hotel is gorgeous too. The Capital Wheel is right outside the hotel. It's about 15 minutes to DC if you wanted to visit any of the museums, etc.

I want to know more about this! I'm reading to go through ICE is only 30 min. How many nights did you stay? Did you feel there were a lot of other activities to keep you busy for a weekend?

Speaking of which lol...we did the LIRR Holiday Express last year to MSG to see the Rudolph show, and we had a great time!

Not too early. I live OOS and already booked our Polar Express tickets for this year. It's our 1st time going. They went on sale last friday. I don't like to rush the holidays (irks me that Thanksgiving is virtually overlooked in the rush to get to Christmas) but had to make an exception to my own rule!
