Christmas Traditions
What are some of your Christmas Eve Traditions and what are some of your Christmas Day Traditions? Also if you travel for the holidays and you spend some extra days after Christmas, are there any special things you do then? TIA.

Christmas Traditions
My DH and I have always exchanged gifts at midnight on Christmas Eve.. now that we have DD the tradition is for us to play Santa at that time, eat cookies and exchange gifts. My dad's family does Christmas Eve dinner, my mom Christmas morning & his family Christmas dinner.. so it's our only quiet "us" time.

Christmas Traditions
So not really a tradition, but still wanted to share especially for those who have toddlers who are talking for the first time this christmas. Last year, we put the tree up and decorated it while DD was napping. I was so excited to see her reaction when she saw it all decorated for the first time. We had the video camera out and got one of my all time favorite videos of her reaction. At first she was scared of it and kept telling us to put it outside but later as she started to explore all the ornaments her comments were priceless. She was telling us about all the different ornaments and what each one was in her opinion. At one point they were earrings, later she said they had tails bc of the ribbons they hung by, the felt heart must have had a weird texture to her bc she kept saying it was dirty, lol. It was so cute and I'm so glad we have it captured on film!

Re: Christmas Traditions
We put together a big gift Christmas Eve from Santa. Awesome to see kids discover Santa came. Everything else is tons of family meals.
