I think he's perfect. Honestly, it is EXACTLY what I pictured him to look like when I was reading the book, minus the facial hair.

Def not what I pictured but he's nice looking. I'm thinking (and hoping) that when he's in the role, his body, mannerisms, etc. make him Christian Grey hot! Men have def gotten hotter to me once I see them in a certain role, interview, etc. I think it's hard to tell from the pic.

While I still think Henry was the man for the job, I'll be interested to see this guy. I love Sons of Anarchy and he is über sexy but is so grimey and dirty (not in a hot way, in a non-hygienic way) on the show. I'll definitely enjoy him all cleaned up.

While I don't see him in that role, I find him absolutely delicious and I really hope this movie has male nudity. It's just so hard to see him as anyone other than Jax!

For this movie to do the book even 1% justice, it MUST be NC-17
I hope so. I still really think this would be better as a Showtime or Skinemax series.

Not sure who, but I heard they had a few actors decline the role, so maybe that was a factor?
This guy isn't terrible. I think with a little clean up, he would look hot.

I am so so so excited about this!! I think he will be PERFECT in this role!! He does clean up really well and he just has this really sexy vibe all the time. It's hard to explain unless you have seen him in his different roles but he is the "really good looking guy that his attuide and overall way he carrys himself and the way he does things- makes him super hot!" guy. He has done some really racey, steamy sex sceens in SOA so I think he is an actor not afraid of this type of role. Plus he has a very believable 'tough guy/bad boy" presence that I think a lot of the other pretty boy actors that were up for the role just couldnt pull off.

I never would've picked him for this role, but now that they've said it, I'm allllllllllll for it.
ETA: I don't know if anyone remembers, but he was also Lloyd on Undeclared back in the day!!

I dont think there wouldve been anyone that wouldve been picked that everyone would agree on.
Also, in the books, CG has copper hair...I wonder if they will follow through with that.
