Help me find a place. We had Noahs at Sergio's in Massapequa...It was too cramped.
I will be having about 50 people. And am on a budget..
I really want a private room.

Brickhouse Brewery in Patchogue. I had my bridal shower there and it was really nice.
Irish Coffee Pub in East Islip. My baby shower was here and also, really nice.

I second this. Packages start at $21.95pp + tax and gratuity.
They have a private room upstairs that will def. accomodate 50 ppl.

Check out Shandon Court in East Islip. Very reasonable packages, nice private upstairs room with it's own bar for smaller parties and a bigger private room downstairs for bigger parties. The food was good, the people and service were superb.

I recommend La Casuccia in Farmingdale. You get a big private room. There were 60 people at my baby shower with still lots of open space for presents and present-opening. The food is delicious. I think the price was 23.95 for salad, pasta, entree, dessert, bread on the table, coffee, tea. I think pitchers of soda were included too. For my shower, we had this huge bowl of sangria (maybe it was champagne punch. I don't remember. I didn't drink it of course =) for $80. And they'll do balloon centerpieces for you if you don't want to bother. I think it was $5 a table.

We're using the Hibernian Hall in Babylon (on Locust Ave near the train station). I think we're paying $500 for the room & $6 per person for beer, wine & soda. A bartender for the whole party is something like $50 I think. You can either bring in your own food/caterer or use their house caterer. He's a member & I think charges $11pp...the rooms there are nice. If you're on a budget you might want to check it out!

John Thomas inn in Bayshore on Sunrisehwy. They were very reasonable but no DJ is allowed,idont think. We had a very nice luncheon for my sons communion there.

Morton's The Steakhouse in Great Neck has space available for Luncheons and Dinners. Not cheap but they have great deals considering what everyone else is offering. Food is always FRESH and made to order and the catering manager returns calls and is always available. Highly reccomended.
