Same. That show was so good that I told DH that I'd be okay with shelving Vedder for a couple years so we can get more shows with Chris.
I've been pretty inconsolable all morning. DH woke me to let me know. My entire FB newsfeed is in mourning. The Pearl Jam community is very intertwined with Chris Cornell and Soundgarden and we are all fcking shocked.
I thought it was a rumor until I saw a post from my friend who works for Pearl Jam. Then I knew it was true.

Depression takes you in a very dark place.

I know and I hate it and I don't understand it and I wish I could have helped - that anyone could help a person in that state of mind. It's just so f'n sad.

So more has come out. He was on anti seizure meds or anti anxiety (depends which report you read) and suicidal thoughts is a side effect. He took a few before he hung himself. Truly a sad story. How these meds can make your mind think these things?? Peace to his family

Did he have seizures? Regardless, how horrible and scary that it may have been caused by a side effect of meds used to treat another issue! Wasn't Robin Williams also on meds with suicidal thoughts as a side effect?
