Chiropractor while pregnant?
Has anyone seen a chiro while pregnant?
Is it safe?
I have always had upper back and neck issues and lately it's gotten so bad.
I don't think it's pregnancy related at all-I just haven't been to the chiro in ages and miss the relief it brought!
My next Dr appt isn't for a few weeks so I wanted to check to see if any of you ladies have gone and if it's ok...

I did for my pregnancy with my DS as i had horrible sciatic nerve issues. I just made sure the guy I went to treated pregnant women. He gave me exercises to do, and did the typical chiropractic things- but made sure it was done gently. It helped a little bit

I hear its pretty common for pregnant women to see a chiropractor for bad lower back issues.
My lower back has been killing me lately ...might be something I consider as well.

I had bad lower back pain and my OB gave me a referral to a chiro. I went and 2 days later the pain was gone and has not come back! Best thing I've done!

Yes, and it was a lifesaver! Chiropractors are very skilled in treatments for preggos-just make sure to let them know.
And thanks for posting this, because you just reminded me to call my chiro/good friend and tell him to come over for dinner and an adjustment!

i get adjusted every 3 weeks pretty much...they say its good for your body and keeping the baby where it should be. keeps everything in the right places

Yes, it is okay. My chiropractor says it will help tons with labor too. It has helped me so much so far with my back pain! So thankful for my chiro.
