Childbirth DVDs
We took a lamaze course at the hospital where we are delivering. It was a full day course, but focused very little on Lamaze techniques, breathing, laboring, etc. (It was more focused on what to do when you get to the hospital, what to expect, inductions, c-sections, etc.).
We feel unprepared re: laboring and breathing techniques. Can anyone recommend DVDs we can watch to help better prepare us?

I watched laugh & learn about childbirth. It covers everything. You can find it at your library.

I'm so sorry you had that experience. Which hospital are you delivering at??? CFA has an UNBELIEVABLE childbirth education class which teaches Lamaze and everything else you need to know before, during, and after labor. It also includes what the coaches role is. We don't just offer support during the class, but for the remainder of your pregnancy and even after the baby is born. Most of our moms go on and join our "New Mothers Group" and other classes as well. You will feel completely prepared after leaving!! Please call us regarding any questions you may have. Our next class is this Sunday, April 6th! There is still room available.

With mine and my DH work we could never make any of the classes so we bought this 2 dvd set from Amazon. It was the best.

This exactly. We bought the laugh and learn about childbirth and rented the othr laugh and learn ones (breastfeeding and baby care) from netflix. it taught me enough although it wasnt very focused on lamaze, more on signs of labor and tihngs like that
