charting temperature
Does anyone chart their temperature? Do you find it helpful to pinpoint O? Is it difficult to do? Thank you.

Re: charting temperature
I bought a regular thermometer and DH hates it because it beeps at start and finish of temp taking. He's usually in bed fast asleep when I am taking morning temp so I might need to invest in another one.
I am also very new to charting and have actually never done it. I bought "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" (Book) and really have learned so much. Everything makes sense to me now.
I agree with the sense of control too! Isn't it nuts!!!!!????

Re: charting temperature
Regular thermometers are not recommended as you need to go to the hundredth of a degree when charting (for more accuracy).
My BBT beeps as well- my dog used to hate it- but she got used to it.
I love the control I have with charting. I like *knowing* when I have ovulated- and through charting, thats the only way you know for sure if you have Oed (except for blood tests).
Through charting this time around (charting is what helped me get pg with DD), I've discovered that I have a short luteal phase. Having a short luteal phase can make it difficult to hold a pregnancy- so I'm taking supplements to help with it.
Good luck ladies!
