charting experts please help!!!

Quick question for all the charting experts out there. I've been reading TCYF, charting on my own and posting my data on Fertility Friend. I thought I was finally getting the hang of things -- after 4 month off BCPs and 3 months of charting -- but now I'm not so sure. Can anyone check out the chart below and tell me if they think what I think . . . . Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

According to my understanding of it all, I think I ovulated on day 15 (which would put me at 15 DPO this morning). I had a clear temp shift -- 2/10th of a degree over the last 6 days and that corrolated with my CM. Plus all my charting cycles were between 29 and 31 days.

As you can see on the FF chart, they say I ovulated on day 21 (which would only put me at day at 9DPO). Yes there was a second shift in temps -- but I had that last month too and TCYF says some women just get a second serge. Don't pregnant women get a surge????

Anyway -- if anyone can tell me what they know about why FF would put my ovulation at day 21 it would help me. I've got an EPT test that I can't wait to use, but I don't want to test too soon!

Thanks!

I would say you O'd on CD 15 too. I *think* FF only considers 4/10ths of a degree a shift. You do have a triphasic chart so that could be a good indicator. You can switch the way FF states your O day by changing it to a different setting I think you can use cervical fluid. It may only be OPK's which it appears you don't use. I would suggest you do in the future-then you will not relaly have these issues. I would test definitely. Your chart looks good

Re: charting experts please help!!!

Honestly, I don't think you o'd on CD 15o, but the missed day could have sent FF to probable O date of CD21-the dotted lines mean probable, meaning some signs do not match up.
Also the open circle could have thrown the date off as well.

BUT to show a def o date and sustained temp shift you need to chart 3 higher temps from the shift, and after cd15, you only show 2, then a dip, then a missed day. But at CD21, you def have 3 sustained higher temps.

I would test, your chart does look good if you did in fact o on CD15

Good luck!Chat Icon Chat Icon
