Thanks. I just had a holiday party. I copied Martha's dreidels
as well as the village (which was a fake cake made from foam covered in frosting and coconut. Martha's cake served 30 people - I was only having 6 so I figured faux was the way to go since it was only a decoration.

We have not lit the candles yet as DH is still not home from work! I have brisket on the stove and noodle kugel in the oven, and am drooling waiting impatiently to devour the wonderfully greasy potato latkes I just fried up.

WOW....everything looks beautiful!
Whenever I see a Menorah with real candles lit on it, I automatically think of a childhood memory when I was sleeping over at my friends house, who is Jewish, and they had their Menorah lit with real candles through the night, and I couldn't fall asleep cause I was so scared that the house was going to burn down. So I called my Mom and had her pick me up in the middle of the night. Such a baby!

No, not this year Most days I'm lucky if I leave the house and only then it's to go to Target
I promise I'll return to being the Menorah-candle-correcting-bandit next year
