Cervix checkers - small Update
For anyone out there who checks their cervical position:
Although I don't check my CP every day - I have noticed for the past few months that after O it is typically low and hard. Then it tends to get a little higher closer to AF but remains hard. Well this month, I am about 6DPO and for the past few days, whenever I check it is still high and not very hard. I can barely reach it with my finger . I swore I wouldn't do this to myself this month and even though I am not recording any symptoms on MMC for this cycle - I'm feeling a little
Any insight? Or you can just feel free to tell me to just chill out and stop feeling myself up
Update 6.28 - so I'm still being a perv and checking and my cervix still hasn't come down. I'm REALLY trying not to read into this but its the only thing I've noticed that is different from other cycles. I've had light pinching and pulling in my lower abdomen/groin area but I can't decide if it's the same feeling as all the other months that ended in a BFN.
One other question for those who have gotten a BFP before - did you all have an increase in CM before AF was due? I know its not a definite indicator but I haven't noticed any and for some reason its got me bummed.
Ok, now I am rambling. Can I just get some baby dust please? After this cycle we start testing and I really am hoping it doesn't come to that.
Thanks

Re: Cervix checkers
Perv.
No, in all seriousness, I can't answer your question because I've tried a bunch of times to do this and have no idea what I'm looking for. It always feels the same to me!
I just Googled for an answer and it says that it takes a few weeks after conception for your cervix to be higher and softer, so it's not a pg symptom. Doesn't mean it's NOT a NOT pg symptom though, so good luck this month!

Re: Cervix checkers - small Update
I had increased CM before my first 2 pregnancies. The 2nd ended in miscarriage though. This pregnancy I didn't notice any excess CM during the 2WW.
Good luck! I hope this is it for you!

When I got pregnant with DS I don't recall any excess CM at all leading up to when AF would be due. I had a lot of it with DD, but that was my only real symptom (other than regular old AF cramps).
So I think it's different for everyone

Well I actually MADE dh check for me bc I couldn't find it - he was VERY hesitant but I figure he spends more time in there than I do. .
to answer your CM question - I did have more leading up to when I usually got AF but like the PP said - don't let it stress you out - everyone's body is so different so just some extra for you!!

Hmm... well, you did get your BFP, right? Maybe having DH check, that's the trick to it! "Ooohhhh hubby, can you come here for a sec??? I have something I want to show you."

yeah it's not SUCH a hit! checking CM seemed to be better disguised as foreplay :)
well both my sister and SIL swear by the cervix checking and they both got preg through at home IUI with a sp donor so I figured if it worked for them BOTH on the first try I'd take diligent notes. .
