Shortened Cervix... freaking out a bit...
So, I had pre-cancerous cells a few years ago, and they did a procedure to remove them from the cervix... the procedure could cause the cervix to shorten.... I knew this going in.... anyway... they check my cervix every two weeks... and thus far it measures 3.... 3 what I dont know... anyway... Dr said at last night's appt... that they will continue to watch it until 24 weeks... that the shortest it can go to is 2.5 without needing bedrest. I'm scared!! I am praying that it stays at 3 and I can carry full term. I am only 20 weeks and I cant imagine being on bed rest for that long... and I am scared that something will happen to the baby! Did anyone else go through something similar or know someone that did? I guess I just need some extra prayers!!!

 I don't know anything about it, but you are being monitored by your doctor and it's good that he is watching this.
