Wow, that is so scary. If you watch closely, you can see a slackness to part of her face while she's speaking.

Re: CBS reporter Serene Branson---had a stroke on air?
I know this sounds weird, but sometimes when I used to get a very bad migraine I used to feel like I couldn't speak properly or form words correctly It's very very scary but the MD told me it can occur sometimes during a migraine attack I hope that is all it was for her!

There's clearly something wrong, you can see in her eyes that she looks distressed. I hope she's ok :(

I know my grandma suffered a minor stroke and was talking like that. You could see in her face she knew what she wanted to say but all of the words came out scrambled. And it was the same thing when she tried to write.
Amazingly after a day she was completely fine. And after numerous tests there was no definite diagnosis other than she probably had a minor stroke at some point earlier in the day.

That is so scary, and hard to watch. Hopefully she is ok. I feel bad for her that it happened on the air like that.

Re: CBS reporter Serene Branson---had a stroke on air?
Based on the update she is fine.
While the truth is still unclear, Branson's CBS Los Angeles page was updated some time since the video, saying she was "examined by paramedics."
The full update on Serene reads:
Serene Branson was examined by paramedics on scene immediately after her broadcast. Her vital signs were normal. She was not hospitalized. As a precautionary measure, a colleague gave her a ride home and she says that she is feeling fine this morning.

I wonder if they know what caused her difficulty with speech.

Re: CBS reporter Serene Branson---had a stroke on air?
You can so see something happen to the one side of her face, it slacks down a bit. That doesnt seem like nerves to me. And she does not appear to be nervous at all, totally in control actually and like a *** is coming out of my mouth moment. That looks scary. I find the Oh she is fine stuff weird??!?

Re: CBS reporter Serene Branson---had a stroke on air?
Oh wow The radio station I listen to in the morning was talking about this. But they kept saying they thought she was drunk. To much champagne and were making light of the whole thing. Now I feel bad for laughing about it. Because not seeing the video and just hearing it, definitely sounded like she had to much to drink.

Re: CBS reporter Serene Branson---had a stroke on air?
I have witnessed my husband and my BIL and many other have mini-strokes and that is exactly what happens..Hubby had one 6 weeks ago. He was fine one second and then couldn't speak the next. It is called a TIA.. Usually when hubby has one, it self corrects itself within 5-10 minutes. She really should have gone to the hospital because TIA usually is a warning sign of a bigger stroke!
