CBEFM
just got AF yesterday so this is the start of month #3 of TTC. I've been using OPK's for the past 2 months... should I "graduate" to the ClearBlue Easy Fertility Monitor???
Opinions/advice appreciated!!!

Thats a personal choice. First off, do you want to fork out all that money? (unless of course you buy it on Ebay or something) 2- Do you feel like that should be your next step? There really isnt a yes or no answer to this one. If you feel like thats what you want to do then go for it! I got mine at month #6 of TTC...I felt like I just really wanted to try something else since Ive been trying everything else already. once AF shows in a few weeks ( I hope) I will start using it. Good luck!

Month 3 isn't time to give up hope!  Are you using OPKs and getting a consisten +? What's your BD schedule?

I used OPK's but never got a smiley the first month (I kind of gave up on them bc I thought I should've O'ed earlier than I did so I figured I missed it). This month I used OPK's & got a smiley on CD 18. I also temped so I know when I O'ed. We were doing Deanna's plan this past month but I kinda missed 2 of the 3 days of  before I ovulated bc we were staying at my parents' vacation house (with them also being there one room away) so I was freaked out.
I think you girls talked some sense into me.... this is only month #3... I now know more about my cycles & can pinpoint ovulation better. I think I am jumping the gun wanting the CBEFM. I'm gonna stick with OPK's & temping again for this month and hopefully that will work for us.

Not sure if you have a flexible spending account thru your job, but if you do, the CBEFM and the test sticks are an eligible expense. I was able to get reimbused, so while it is $$, atleast I could use pre-tax $$.
I just finished month 2 with it and like it alot- AF not due till next week. It helps give me peace of mind I feel more relaxed that it is tracking my cycle and I am not trying to figure it out myself, cause when I was doing that I was way off track.
