I just started this morning. I am on my 4th day of AF. So I started it today with day 1.
So do I just turn it on every morning and see if there is a stick there? How exactly do these work?

If you are on day 4, you should start it on day 4. The same way you set it to day 1, just hold down the button until you get to the day you want. You might have to reset it tomorrow at the time you want, so you would then make it day 5. Tomorrow would be the last day you can set it.

Yes, you turn it on every day around the same time (3 hours before and after the time you set it). When the stick symbol is flashing that is when you test.

Oh I didnt know I could set ahead to day 5....I was wondering how it could be accurate.

If it is your first time using the CBEFM it will probably have you start testing around Day 9 or 10. The more you use it the more it will get to know your cycles so if you ovulate late it will have you test later in future cycles and if you ovulate early it will have you start testing earlier. It's very easy to use. Just be aware, depending on how your cycles are, you may see a low reading for a few days, then a high reading, and eventually the peak reading days after that. I have longer cycles and I ovulate late (around CD24) so I usually see low reading for about a week, then high readings for a 3-4 days before I see my peak.

Good luck with it! I LOVE mine and swear by it! BTW.........as the above poster said make sure you set it to reflect CD4 if you are on the 4th day of AF. If you don't set it to the right day it will start having you test too late and you will miss ovulation.

if this is your first cycle using it, you start peeing on the stick on day 6. This is my first month too, I am CD6 :O)
