cautiously optimistic... *** update with 2nd bloodwork results 2/20 ***
so... here is a picture of the test i took last night, at 12dpo...
i don't know if i'm in denial, shock, disbelief or what, but i'm having a hard time wrapping my head around it. dh and i go back and forth between excitement and numbness... it's like, we don't want to let ourselves believe this is real. i'm sooo scared of a chemical, of taking another test and it being a negative, of numbers not coming back where they should be, of another miscarriage - name it. i'm not scared, i'm petrified. we both are.
i'm going to take another test tomorrow morning - the day AF would be due - a digital - and if it's positive, i will schedule bloodwork. but for now, i guess you can say i'm cautiously optimistic.
please pray for me, WITH me, that this is real, that this sticks, and that i make it through a healthy 9 months and beyond with this bean
ETA- took a digital 1st thing this morning (14dpo)and it came up 'pregnant' in less than 30 seconds. bloodwork scheduled for 830 tonight. Thank you ALL for your sticky dust and prayers. Keep it comin please!!
2/16/12 ETA(again) - got the results of my 1st beta and progesterone... beta was 176 and progesterone was 55. it's a bit of a relief to see my progesterone holding strong (it was 50.9 at 7DPO) - but i have a looong way to go. repeating the bloodwork tomorrow to make sure the beta is going up as it should. i'll be holding my breath til monday for those results 
thank you ALL again for all your congrats and prayers. it means more to me than you'll ever know. i love you girls  
***2nd beta results update 2/20/12 ***
My 2nd bloodwork results are in... beta was 400 and progesterone went up to 91.1 - there were 36 hrs in between blood draw #1 & #2

I am praying soooo hard for you! But with a progesterone level of 50 I don't think this bean is going anywhere

thank you!! that progesterone was 7DPO... i'm so scared of having bloodwork, and it having dropped

Congrats!!!! I know how hard it is to be happy -- but I hope that the two of you can celebrate and wishing you tons of   and a very happy & healthy 9 months!!!!
