Cars: black or white?
We are about to buy a new car. I've had silver cars for the last 19 years, so I'm not getting silver again. I cannot decide between black or white. Which would you choose and why?
ETA: Thanks, all! We went with black (it's an SUV).

Depending on the car I like a color over another. I like the look of black SUV and white cars for the most part

I don't like either pure black or pure white cars (other than limos... that other people have to keep clean...)
There are so many cool colors for cars, I tend to get an interesting color, and one that hides a good deal of road dirt if possible.

I have my first white car with black trim and it looks awesome. Normally I am opposed to white cars but I like this look. I HATE black cars because they show every single piece of dirt and get scratched so easily. I prefer colors though to black or white.

I like the way black cars look when they are really clean, but they show every little speck of dirt so they don't always look great. White cars don't show the dirt as much as black cars. My personal preference would usually be a color over white or black (or silver or grey) - like blue or red, but it depends on the car.

I love black. It's a huge PIA to keep clean, but to me, nothing looks nicer than a shiny black car.

I had a white car for 14 yrs and it always looked clean. My black car needs a wash veryyyy often. Depends on the car though! Some look better in white some better in black

I like black on black with blacked out rims
No chrome at all
White can be nice but it depends on the car. Some cars look like old refrigerators in white. I can appreciate the look of a white car (if it's a nice white)
